Its hard to leave something behind. Its harder...
I won’t harass people for the same reason I wont stab chickens.

– Just some good quotes I had lying around.
So it begins.
All y’all Londoners should be happy to know:
I’ve started on that massive video editing project. I spent four hours last night trying to hack various software programs so it won’t get watermarked and so that I can convert .mov to .avi. Easier said than done. Between my weird java and C++ skills, not goin’ so well. Thus far, 8 hours into the project, I have a sketchy 12...

Twenty-twenty-twenty four hours to go...
Nah, I don’t really want to be sedated. No bouncing off of padded walls yet, thankyouverymuch. No, that’s Monday at 10 o’clock in the mornin’. (To be said in that really awful “I’ve-lived-too-much-in-the-country-and-I’m-smiling-because-I’ve-had-really-good-sheep-sex-recently-and-you-haven’t” voice. NB: See referneces to The 10th...

Day 18-Whatever Tickles Your Fancy
This one made me giggle. It was also what we did on Sunday (the 18th).

Day 15- A Fanfic
I’m not one for fanfics, but this one caught my eye a few years back. One of those things where you can’t help but feel that fate exists, for some people, somewhere out there in the great wide universe.
Firefly was canceled by Fox-the devil of all broadcasting companies. Thus begins one’s craving for more—well, lots of wishes for more and no satisfaction. Eventually they...
Return from Haitius
Not the island. Well, an island, but not Haiti.
I am terribly far behind on these 30-day challenge things. So here I go at catching up. I blame volcanoes for taking so long to post anything.
I Went to Ireland
…and my boyfriend traded me for a bunny.
That’s not true! (Though he did drop me off in Cork and he picked up a rabbit…curious). It was lovely, apparently micro-climates are the best ever, and following two train trips in which I evaded the ticket Nazis, I am now home. Luckily the sun is shining here too, otherwise I would be much much more gutted about having to leave.

This Morning
A volcano erupted in Iceland.
Therefore:
Flights through British Airspace=cancelled
Flights in or out of England=cancelled
People having homes in Iceland=cancelled
The lives of ~600 Chinese=cancelled
I never did get the hang of mathematical proofs, but this one, despite my lack of knowledge on the subject, still seems fucked up.
Today has been one of "those" days. I just want to...

If you thought your life was bad...
…I’m applying for a volunteering position examining the remains of Cambrian-era invertebrates.
aka I’ll be researching prehistoric worm poo.
I’m doing this willingly, of my own accord. Oh goodness.
Days 13 and 14
Of the Tumblr 30 day challenge.
Day 13-A Fictional Book
I want VERY badly to put the book of Genesis here, but I feel like I would offend more people than is necessary for a Wednesday. Perhaps on a Monday, things would be different… /evil cackle. Therefore, I shall choose to put Catch-22 down as my book chosen for today because it is a most excellent book, and a work of fiction. Though...
My Brain After I Took the GRE Today →
Alison: No no! ALL of my friends have facebook! Pretty much all of them! And all of them have ipods and-
Dana: Yes, and unprotected sex,
Alison: NO!
Dana: And birthcontrol doesn't count as 'protected'.
Alison: DANA!
Me: No, she has a good point, just because everyone else is doing it doesn't mean you should.
Dana: Especially in the case of ipods.

This is the problem with having things you must get done on a computer hooked up to the internet. All of your ‘social-networking-sites’ get updated far too much.

Day 08-A photo that makes you angry/sad
Actually, this photo makes me not only angry, sad, depressed, disillusioned and dejected, it makes me absolutely irate. I hate, with a fiery burning passion, people like this. It is them, and their political and social power, that makes everyone hate the US. Hate hate hate hate hate. Not sure I can say that enough. I know it sounds over bearing, but honestly, you can trace most of the problems in...
