Or the montage of the young heroine leaving behind the homestead to get an education in Europe. It's just the classic hero's story line. But with twists. I'll keep you informed on how the kitchen is doing--what it cares to serve you is ultimately up to it though.

More time for longing, lusting and self-hating...
…since I lack the money for these. Alas and lack-a-day.
I’ve got it in my head that I quite want a vintage dress for the weekend the boy is coming out, especially seeing as (I think) the first thing we’re doing is going dancing at a vintage club. I’m annoyed my great-grandmother’s wedding dress isn’t restored/in good enough condition for me to wear it on regular occasions. Especially since it’s vintage 1929, black velvet and has one of the FIRST zippers. Yeah, she was -just- that avant garde.
